Terms of Use
These plain-language terms describe the responsibilities and practical limits that apply when you use BrowserPine’s browser-based tools.
Using BrowserPine
Last updated:
BrowserPine provides free browser-based file and utility tools. By using the site, you agree to use it subject to these terms.
Local processing
Supported tool files are processed by code running in your browser rather than being uploaded to a BrowserPine file-processing server. Normal website delivery still involves network requests. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for:
- the files and information you choose to process;
- having the rights or permission needed to use those files;
- reviewing generated results before relying on them;
- keeping originals or backups where needed; and
- deciding whether an output is suitable for your intended use.
No guarantee of perfect output
BrowserPine attempts to process supported inputs correctly, but does not promise that every file, browser, format variant, conversion, cleanup, compression, timing operation, or generated result will be perfect or suitable for every use.
Important file effects
Some operations intentionally modify file content or structure. Depending on the tool and settings, that can include metadata changes, image recompression, subtitle timing or text changes, PDF structure changes, cropping, compression, or removal operations.
Modifying a digitally signed document can invalidate its existing signature. Review important results and keep the original file when integrity-sensitive properties matter.
Browser and device limits
Large or complex files may be limited by available memory, CPU performance, browser implementation, and device capability. BrowserPine may enforce conservative safety limits to keep the interface responsive and reduce failed processing.
Prohibited misuse
Do not use BrowserPine in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights, intentionally attacks or disrupts the site, or abuses its resources or security mechanisms.
Availability and changes
BrowserPine may update, add, change, or remove features. The site and individual tools are not guaranteed to remain available permanently or without interruption.
Disclaimer
BrowserPine is provided on an “as available” basis. Use reasonable care with important files, retain backups, and independently verify results when errors could cause loss or harm.
