How to delete pages from a PDF

Remove selected pages and keep the rest
Custom selections accept individual pages and ranges. Repeated page numbers are deduplicated because deleting the same source page twice has no additional effect. At least one page must always remain in the output.
Pages that are not selected keep their relative order. Deleting pages 2, 4, and 5 from a six-page document produces a three-page PDF containing original pages 1, 3, and 6.
Delete PDF Pages compared with Extract PDF Pages
Delete PDF Pages treats the selection as pages to remove and keeps everything else. It is useful when only a few unwanted pages should be discarded from an otherwise complete document.
Extract PDF Pages does the opposite: its selection identifies the pages to copy into one new PDF and can preserve a custom order or intentional repeats. Choose the tool that matches what your selection represents.
Page removal without rasterization
The worker removes selected pages from the loaded PDF in descending internal index order and saves the edited document once. Remaining text, vectors, embedded images, page dimensions, MediaBoxes, CropBoxes, stored rotations, links, and annotations are not intentionally converted to pixels.
Editing the loaded document can retain document-level structures better than rebuilding the result from copied pages, but bookmarks, internal links, form fields, attachments, signatures, and specialized metadata can still reference removed pages or require review afterward.
Practical browser safeguards
The source is limited to one PDF up to 50 MiB and 500 pages. A selection that would remove every page is blocked, and the generated cleaned PDF must remain within the 150 MiB output ceiling.
Parsing, deletion, saving, and verification run in a dedicated worker. Canceling releases that worker while keeping the original source and selection available for another attempt.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. File validation, page removal, saving, and output verification run locally in your browser. The source PDF is not uploaded to a processing server.
Can I delete several PDF pages at once?
Yes. Enter page numbers and ranges such as 2,4-6, or choose all odd or all even page numbers. Repeated numbers in a custom selection are counted once.
Can I delete every page?
No. A valid PDF output must contain at least one page, so any selection that would delete the entire document is blocked before processing.
What is the difference between deleting and extracting PDF pages?
Delete removes the selected pages and keeps the rest in their original order. Extract creates one new PDF from the selected pages themselves and can use a custom output order.
Does deleting pages reduce PDF quality?
The tool removes pages structurally without rasterizing retained pages, so it does not intentionally lower image resolution or convert text and vectors into pixels.
Does applying another selection delete more pages from my previous result?
No. Every Delete action reloads the original selected PDF. A new selection never stacks page removals onto an earlier result.
Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?
No. Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are rejected. This tool does not request, store, bypass, or remove document passwords.
Will bookmarks, forms, links, and metadata remain?
Standard retained page content is preserved where the PDF structure allows. Advanced features can reference removed pages or may not survive editing perfectly, and any modification invalidates existing digital signatures.
What are the file and page limits?
The source PDF can be up to 50 MiB and 500 pages. The cleaned output must retain at least one page and remain within the 150 MiB generated-file limit.
