Choose one PDF
Add a document up to 50 MiB and 500 pages. Its signature, structure, encryption status, and page count are checked locally before previews appear.
PDF Tools
See every source page as a thumbnail, move pages into a new sequence with drag and drop or accessible buttons, and create one PDF that follows exactly the order shown. Processing stays in your browser.
Use page thumbnails, drag and drop, or the accessible move controls. The order shown is exactly the order used in your output.
Local processing
PDF.js renders bounded thumbnails locally, while a dedicated pdf-lib worker applies and verifies the final structural page order. The source document and generated result are not uploaded to a processing server.

Add a document up to 50 MiB and 500 pages. Its signature, structure, encryption status, and page count are checked locally before previews appear.
Drag page cards or use the first, earlier, later, and last buttons. Current positions and original page numbers remain visible throughout.
Create a fresh result from the original PDF using the complete order shown, verify its page sequence and geometry, then download the reordered document.
Each card represents one original PDF page. If a five-page document is arranged as original pages 5, 1, 3, 2, 4, the output is saved in precisely that order. Current positions update while the original page numbers stay attached to their previews.
Every original page must appear exactly once. Reorder PDF Pages changes sequence only; it does not duplicate pages or leave any out. Reset order restores the source sequence without selecting the file again.
Use Reorder PDF Pages when all pages belong in one document but appear in the wrong sequence. Delete PDF Pages removes selected pages, while Extract PDF Pages creates one new PDF from a chosen subset and can intentionally repeat pages.
Split PDF divides one source into multiple outputs. This tool always creates one complete PDF with the same page count as the source, arranged in the visual order you selected.
The final worker moves existing page objects within the loaded PDF instead of rebuilding pages from thumbnail pixels. Text, vectors, embedded images, page dimensions, MediaBoxes, CropBoxes, stored rotations, ordinary links, and annotations are not intentionally flattened or recompressed.
Document-level features can depend on page positions or references. Bookmarks, internal links, forms, attachments, signatures, and specialized metadata should be reviewed after reordering, and any PDF modification invalidates existing digital signatures.
PDF.js is loaded only after a valid PDF is selected. At most two thumbnails render concurrently, each preview has bounded dimensions, and offscreen canvases are released so large documents do not retain hundreds of rendered page images.
The source is limited to 50 MiB and 500 pages, and the generated result must remain within 150 MiB. Canceling an Apply stops the structural worker while keeping the original PDF, previews, and current order available for another attempt.
Common questions
No. Validation, thumbnail rendering, structural reordering, saving, and output verification run locally in your browser. The document is not uploaded to a processing server.
Yes. Every page card includes keyboard-accessible controls to move it to the beginning, one position earlier, one position later, or the end.
No. This tool keeps every original page exactly once and changes only the sequence. Use Delete PDF Pages to remove pages or Extract PDF Pages when you need a selected subset or repeated pages.
No page is rasterized for the output. The worker moves existing PDF page objects, so it does not intentionally lower image resolution or convert text and vectors into pixels.
No. PDF.js thumbnails are local previews only. The final result is made from the original PDF page objects, not from thumbnail images.
No. Every Apply reloads the original selected PDF and uses the currently visible order, so reordering never stacks onto an earlier generated result.
No. Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are rejected. This tool does not request, store, bypass, or remove document passwords.
Standard page content is preserved where the structure allows, but advanced features can depend on page positions or references and may not survive editing perfectly. Any modification invalidates existing digital signatures.
One source PDF can be up to 50 MiB and 500 pages. The reordered output keeps the same page count and must remain within the 150 MiB generated-file limit.
