Convert JPG Images to PDF

This converter embeds the original JPEG byte stream directly in the PDF instead of decoding and saving a new JPEG. That avoids a second lossy compression pass and preserves the source image resolution.

Page sizing changes only how the image is placed on the PDF page. Images are centered and scaled proportionally inside the chosen margins, without cropping, stretching, or intentionally increasing JPEG compression.

Camera and phone photos may store pixels in one direction and use EXIF metadata to tell viewers how to rotate or mirror them. The tool reads orientation values 1 through 8, including mirrored variants, and applies a PDF placement transform so the page matches normal image viewers.

Automatic page orientation uses the visually corrected dimensions: landscape images receive landscape pages, portrait images receive portrait pages, and square images use portrait pages. You can override that choice for the whole document.

A4 uses 595.28 by 841.89 PDF points and US Letter uses 612 by 792 points before orientation is applied. These standards are useful for printing and sharing documents with predictable paper dimensions.

Fit image creates a page around the image and selected margin while preserving proportions. Its longest page edge is capped near the A4 long edge, which avoids unbounded page dimensions from high-resolution photos.

A queue can contain up to 20 images, 25 MiB per file, 100 MiB in total, and 40 megapixels per image. Individual dimensions are capped at 16,384 pixels, and generated output is limited to 150 MiB to keep browser memory use more predictable.

Validation decodes one selected image at a time and releases that temporary bitmap immediately. PDF generation then runs in a dedicated worker, and canceling stops the worker while retaining your selected queue for another attempt.
